A County Prosecutor Says That A Princeton University Student Who Had Been Missing Killed Himself

According to a press release issued by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, the death of the student at Princeton Institution who had been reported missing and who was later discovered dead on the campus of the university was the result of an attempt at self-harm.

According to the statement, the results of the formal autopsy that was performed on Misrach Ewunetie by the office of the Middlesex Regional Medical Examiner determined that her death was a suicide and that the cause of death was “Bupropion, Escitalopram and Hydroxyzine Toxicity.”

On the campus of Princeton University in October, the body of Ewunetie, who was 20 years old, was discovered below some tennis courts. On October 14, at approximately 3:00 am, she was last seen in the area of a residential building on the New Jersey campus. On October 16, the university made the complaint that she was missing, and on October 20, her body was discovered.
