The first season of “Ouran High School Host Club,” a popular romantic comedy anime, aired in 2006 and featured 26 episodes. This TV series is based on Bisco Hatori’s manga, which was published between 2002 and 2010.
Ouran High School Host Club follows Haruhi Fujioka, a teenage girl, as she begins her scholarship year at the esteemed institution. While looking for a place to study, Haruhi accidentally stumbles into an informal gathering of the Host Club, which includes six male students who bring in female “clients” to keep them company. Haruhi’s clumsiness causes her to break an exquisite vase. The club, mistaking her for a guy, demands that she become a “Host” in order to make amends for the mistake. Apparently, Haruhi has a knack for seducing women, and even after learning that she’s a woman, the boys keep her identity a secret so that she can continue to serve as a Host for them.
This fan-favorite anime was hugely successful when it was first aired, but despite numerous spinoffs, including a drama CD, a graphic novel, and a live-action series, there hasn’t been a second season. Fans of “Ouran High School Host Club” have waited 15 years for a second season, but will it ever happen? What do we know about the upcoming second season of “Ouran High School Host Club”?
Ouran High School Host Club Season 2 Release Date
Unfortunately, despite the passage of more than a decade, there has been no indication on whether or not a second season will be produced for the older series. According to several media outlets like OtakuKart and Otaku News, Todd Haberkorn, one of the English-speaking cast members of the show, was approached by the original creators about Season 2, but since then, there has been no word. Anime fans, on the other hand, should never give up on the possibility of a third season. Many anime series have gone over a decade without a new season, such as “Digimon Adventure 02,” which ended in 2001 and was followed by the film “Digimon Adventure tri. 1: Saikai,” which was released 14 years after the show ended. After 11 years of waiting, there was a gap of sixteen years between “Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor – Exodus” and “Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor.”
Things are looking up for ‘Ouran High School Host Club,’ thanks to a thriving Bones animation studio, an unoccupied director, and the show’s increasing popularity over time. A movie or relaunch may be in store instead of Season 2, but that’s just as exciting for those who have been waiting so long. Were there to be a “Ouran High School Host Club” Season 2, fans will have to wait until the middle of 2022 to see the next batch of episodes because the Bones studio has been experiencing delays due to COVID-19 and is currently working on “My Hero Academia 5” and “The Case Study of Vanitas” (Anime News Network).

Ouran High School Host Club Season 2 be Plot
Haruhi and Tamaki express their emotions for one another at the end of the first season of “Ouran High School Host Club,” but it appears that Kyoya is still in the running. Haruhi is the long-term goal for both Tamaki and Kyoya’s parents, who are also members of the Host Club. In order to set the stage for what could be serious conflicts later on, the first season concludes with the fathers discussing business.
Despite the fact that no one in the show kisses in Season 1, Haruhi and Tamaki are set up to develop a romantic relationship in Season 2. Haruhi and Tamaki’s love blossoms into a serious relationship if the second season follows the manga’s events, which have already concluded. Since the anime doesn’t have to follow the book exactly, anything could happen to the couple when it comes to marriage in the anime.
A few main Hosts graduated from Ouran High School in Season 1, but they frequently returned to assist with hosting duties so there’s no reason to fear that any of the important characters wouldn’t appear in Season 2 episodes.. “Ouran High School Host Club” devotees merely have to hold on to their dreams that a new season would be released in the near future. Regardless of how long it has been since the original airing of a show, there is no guarantee that it will be renewed.
Ouran High School Host Club Season 2 Spoiler
Season 2 has not yet been officially announced by the show’s creators, but we do know that the majority of the characters will appear in the second season. As previously said, these characters had a large fan base and were universally adored, thus the producers will not take the risk of creating a completely new cast of characters after fifteen years. However, there will be some new characters, and the storyline may alter slightly from the last one, due to the 14-year time gap that needs to be bridged in some way, keeping the audience in mind since they have grown up with the characters as well.
Ouran High School Host Club Season 2 Characters
Haruhi is the focal point of the “Ouran High School Host Club,” although she is never alone; she is constantly alongside the other six members of the Host Club. Tamaki Suoh, the club’s president, is one of the most popular Hosts, known for her classic beautiful looks and her blonde hair. Tamaki has strong romantic feelings for Haruhi, despite the fact that it takes him a long time to acknowledge them. Kyoya Ootori, a young woman with black hair and glasses, is always by Tamaki’s side. This club member is in charge of finances and other backstage logistics, leaving the real entertainment to the rest of the club members and their guests.
Then there are the naughty twins, Kaoru and Hikaru Hitachiin, who, with the exception of Haruhi, are difficult to distinguish from one another. Despite the fact that Mitsukuni “Honey” Haninozuka and Takashi “Mori” Morinozuka are cousins by marriage, the two treat each other as if they were brothers. In the first episode, Mori is a tall and dark host who is also very attractive. In contrast, Honey is 18 years old but appears to be six, and he appeals to clients by using his inherent attractiveness. Everyone in Haruhi’s group knows her well, and almost all of them have a romantic interest in her, but Haruhi’s attachment to Tamaki is the strongest of the group’s relationships.
