Early Life and Career Journey Of DJ Paul

DJ Paul’s real name is Paul Duane Beauregard, and he was born on January 12, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, to a family of musicians. He began his professional career as a DJ at the age of eleven, working at the local club 380 Beale. In 1989, Paul joined forces with his brother Ricky T. Dunigan, better known by his stage name Lord Infamous, to form the duo the Serial Killaz. Because they lacked the necessary equipment, the pair rented out the studio of local DJ Just Born. Their first self-produced tape, “Portrait of a Serial Killa,” was released in 1992, and the Serial Killaz went on to release several more in their neighborhood and school. This was followed by the release of two parts of “Come with Me 2 Hell” and a self-titled cassette by the duo.

Paul eventually acquired studio equipment and began creating mixtapes, which he sold at his high school’s record store to make ends meet. In addition, he released a number of solo cassettes. Paul went on to become a well-known DJ and producer in Memphis, where he was introduced to fellow up-and-coming star producer Juicy J, who became a friend.

Three 6 Mafia was also responsible for the soundtracks for the films “Choices” and “Choices II: The Setup,” among other projects.

“It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp,” written for the film “Hustle & Flow,” was one of the Three 6 Mafia’s most notable accomplishments in 2006 when they were awarded the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Crunchy Black left the group as a result of this, leaving only Paul and Juicy J remaining. In 2008, they released the album “Last 2 Walk,” which was followed by a tour.
