In 2021, a new show called NCIS: Hawai’i came out, and the show just keeps getting better and better. Vanessa Lachey, a Love Is a Blind host, stars as Jane Tennant, a fearless agent who moves to a beautiful tropical island. Isn’t that always the case? With the show still going strong, fans are already talking about whether the show is “one and done” or will keep going, especially now that an Australian version of the show has been given the go-ahead. So, what’s going on? There are a lot of things you need to know about the future of crime procedurals, so here they are.
NCIS Hawaii Season 2 Renewed or Canceled
As of March 2, 2022, there hasn’t been an official renewal of NCIS: Hawai’i yet. Besides, the first season hasn’t even been over yet. Currently, the new version of the show will run through the end of March. This is how long it will be. To make things even worse, the UK hasn’t even seen the show yet. There isn’t even a release date set for the show. It’s thought that it will be part of Disney+ because that’s where the whole series is now when it comes to streaming services. There is a good chance that we will learn about both release dates soon rather than later. In some way, there will be more of the team. The NCIS cast has said that a crossover has already been filmed, which will tie the old and the new together. Not yet known which version of the franchise arms this crossover will be linked to, but it’s not clear.
NCIS Hawaii Expected Cast
Is it likely that Vanessa Lachey, who plays Jane Tennant on NCIS: Hawaii, will be back as well if the show does return? There is no force without their best detective, so what is it without them? During the original series, Jane had worked with Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), who was played by Leroy Jethro Gibbs. In January 2022, it was revealed that Jane had a connection to him. He used to want to take her under his wing as a mentor. I think it’s only a matter of time before he shows up on the island.
On top of that, it’s not clear who else will be back, but since all NCIS shows – such as New Orleans and LA – have ensemble casts that return, we should expect the same here. It also has Noah Mills, who played Jesse Boone in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Vanessa is joined in the cast by Mills. Actor Alex Tarrant, who is from New Zealand, plays Kai Holman, the newest member of the NCIS team. He came back to the island to take care of his father, who is ill. Yasmine Al Bustami also plays Lucy Tara, a junior field agent who has a relationship with Kate Whistler, played by Tori Anderson from No Tomorrow.
Jason Antoon, who played Ernie in the movie Famous in Love, joins the team as a Cyber Intelligence Specialist. He likes “technology, history, literature, and all things Hawaiian.” We’ll let you know if there are any more announcements when they happen.

NCIS Hawaii Expected Plotline
New crimes are solved by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service every episode. NCIS is procedural, so every show the Naval Criminal Investigative Service takes on a new case. The show has strong characters for us to root for, and their complicated relationships are always interesting. That’s why it’s become such a popular show. In what ways will Jane be able to keep her work and personal life in order? Which office romances will grow, or fall apart, over the next few months? Are any of the people on the team hiding something? The green light will tell us soon enough.
NCIS Hawaii Season 2 Trailer
Unfortunately, there will not be a new trailer. As soon as the show has been filmed, we will hear about it. It would not surprise us if the show came back at the end of the year because of how many episodes it has. The first season aired late in September 2021. If CBS were to do this again, then announcements should be made pretty soon, so stay tuned.
