Naomi Watts officially announced her marriage to Billy Crudup less than a day after reports of their nuptials began circulating. The 54-year-old King Kong actress revealed their official nuptials on Saturday by sharing a photo on her Instagram page.
Crudup is also 54 years old. The adorable photo shows the newlyweds holding hands on the steps of what looks to be a courthouse in Manhattan while they are both smiling and dressed to the nines.
Watts just wrote “Hitched!” as the post’s caption. The good news comes after Page Six revealed images of the pair entering their New York City residence wearing matching wedding bands on Friday.
In the pictures, Watts can be seen grinning while holding a bouquet while wearing an Oscar de la Renta white floral gown, while Crudup is seen carrying a red duffel bag while wearing a blue suit.
After she published the picture, several of the couple’s well-known friends—including Gwyneth Paltrow, Melanie Lynskey, Sarah Silverman, Amy Sedaris, Lucy Boynton, Shailene Woodley, and others—ran to the comments section to congratulate them on their recent marriage.

When Today anchor Hoda Kotb complemented Watts on the call while she was a guest on the morning program in the same month, Watts chose to avoid talking about her relationship status by acting confused.
“My eye is hurting. There’s a big glint coming from some ring over here,” At the moment, Kotb stated, There’s a tremendous gleam coming from some ring over here. “It just struck me. But it’s beautiful.” Feigning ignorance, Watts laughed and replied, “Oh, the brain fog!”
Despite being associated since 2017, Watts and Crudup’s first public appearance as a pair on the red carpet was at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2018.
Sasha, 15, and Kai, 14, are the two children Watts and her ex-husband Liev Schreiber share, whilst Crudup and her ex-wife Mary-Louise Parker have a son named William Atticus Parker, 19, together.
