On Monday, following what was claimed to be a hostage situation at a marijuana farm in Oklahoma, the bodies of four people were discovered.

A hostage situation was reported to have occurred on Sunday night near Hennessy, which is approximately 55 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. The Kingfisher County Sheriff‘s Office responded to the situation. After finding four dead bodies and one person who was severely injured on the 10-acre farm, the local sheriff’s department contacted the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. The injured party was transported to a hospital for treatment. All of the victims had been shot in the head at some point.

According to KOCO, the culprit has not been captured and is still at large. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the suspect and the victims were familiar with one another.

“They all know each other. Don’t know if they’re related or co-workers, but certainly these individuals, we believe, were all familiar with each other,” said Capt. Stan Florence. Their identities and ages have not been made public at this time.

“At this point, we have a suspect in mind. We have no specific information to be able to share that information at this point,” Florence said. According to the Kingfisher County Sheriff Dennis Banther, a warrant for the suspect was issued on Monday. This information was provided to local media sources.

Florence stated that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Inquiry would be in charge of the investigation into the shooting, while the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics would look into the “marijuana grow operation,” including whether or not it was a legitimate farm.
