An accidental fentanyl overdose was the cause of death for country artist Luke Bell, whose body was discovered in August in Tucson, Arizona. This information comes from an autopsy report.
According to the medical examiner’s report, Bell was “reportedly found unresponsive by a passerby in a shaded area of a parking structure.” Additionally, the investigation findings revealed that drug paraphernalia was located at the scene.
According to the investigation findings made public by the office of the Pima County Medical Examiner in Arizona, Bell’s death was caused by fentanyl intoxication, and the manner of his passing was determined to be accidental.
In addition, the autopsy found that Mr. Bell had arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease at the time of his passing; however, this condition was unrelated to the underlying ailment that led to his demise.
According to the toxicology report, fentanyl is “often discovered in conjunction with other illicit narcotics.” Fentanyl is a prescription opioid that is primarily used as an anesthetic. Its potency ranges anywhere from 80 to 200 times that of morphine. Fentanyl is sometimes sold as heroin.
When officials reacted to a complaint of an “unresponsive” person on August 26, the country artist, who was 32 at the time, was eventually recognized as Bell. He had been missing for more than a week at his discovery. According to the Tucson Police Department, his body was discovered in the same region on August 20, which was reported to be the location where he had disappeared.
Before he passed away, Bell was on a trip to Tucson with his close buddy and fellow country artist Matt Kinman when he mysteriously vanished. Bell and Kinman had been friends for many years.
According to his relatives, the musician had a severe bipolar disorder, which became much more serious after the loss of his father many years previously. He had just switched the medicine he was taking for therapy before passing away.
