Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette’s block on Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons was not well received by Dallas Cowboys defensive end Von Miller, who urged the NFL to take action after Sunday night’s victory.
At the end of the first half, Fournette and left tackle Josh Wells combined to stop the excellent pass rusher, allowing Tom Brady to complete a 48-yard pass to Julio Jones. Even though Fournette didn’t make a dirty hit, the Buffalo Bills linebacker seemed to have a problem with the blindside blow.
On Monday, he demanded on Twitter that “this block be removed from the game.” The offense is encouraged to attack our star pass rushers with reckless abandon because, in the future, “you can get the job done without this much contact.”

The former NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year shared his own blunt opinion on the block.
“Now go watch the tape! And see what happened (sic) when it was me and him one on one!!! You hit someone not looking you straight p—–!! Stop hyping this weak a– s— it’s football!!

Bowles credited the whole offense, noting, “I felt the offensive line did a terrific job blocking. It was a total team effort tonight.” Lenny ran the ball effectively and aggressively, while the offensive line provided solid blocking.
Despite being sacked twice by Parsons, Brady completed 18 of 27 passes for 212 yards and one interception, improving his record against the Cowboys to 7-0.
