Larry Elder Stressed That Sex Education in California ‘has No Role in Schools’

Larry Elder said the government “has no role” in teaching s*x education. This was said by one of the largest churches in the state outside of Sacramento.

Pastor Greg Fairrington asked Elder for his views on comprehensive s*x  education and the rights of the LGBTQ + community. Elder said, “All the things you mentioned are going to end. I don’t think the government has any role in s*x  education in our schools.”

Currently, in California, there is a law that states that students must receive comprehensive sexuality education and information on HIV prevention, at least once during elementary school and once in high school. According to the California Department of Education, this allows teachers to talk about age-appropriate s*x  ed in earlier grades if that is best for them.

Likewise, according to the department of education, parents have every right to demand that their children not receive comprehensive s*xual health education.

While he was presenting his opinion, he discussed various social issues that Fairrington had asked him about. He stated that he finds it outrageous that bakers are required to bake cakes for weddings where the married couple will be of the same s*x  and that he would not allow transgender people to participate in sports teams or use the bathroom of the gender they sit in. identified.

Destiny Christian Church is located in the northeast of California’s capital, Sacramento. It is a Pentecostal church in Rocklin hundreds of people attend it. This summer, the church made headlines because Fairrington vowed to defy a shutdown order issued by Governor Gavin Newsom himself amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fairrington said in a video posted in July 2020: “I believe that my mandate as a pastor is to obey the word of God. Worship is part of what we do together as a corporate church, and we have to do this. We must do this.”

On September 14, there will be a recall election, and people will have to answer some questions while they are at the voting booth. Likewise, they have to choose a candidate to replace Newsom.

Governor Newsom, however, tops the polls as California’s status remains “solidly Democratic.” Almost every poll showed Newsom to have a narrow but consistent, single-point lead on the first question.

Despite this, some polls anticipate better news for the governor.

The California Institute of Public Policy conducted a poll in late August and found that 58% of voters wanted Newsom to stay, while 39% would vote for repeal.

Elder has always been considered Newsom’s successor when he retires from the post of the state governor. Trafalgar conducted a poll from September 2-4, and it was found that 32% of voters would choose Elder. The second was Democrat Kevin Paffrath. Still, 29% of voters were undecided about this decision.
