Koutetsujou no Kabaneri transports us to nineteenth-century Japan. More exactly, Hinomoto, the name of an island republic at the time. The anime was a huge hit, which resulted in the series being revived in a variety of ways. A manga adaptation was one of these, beginning in 2016 and concluding in 2018. There were also three theatrical films, however, the first two were merely recaps of the anime’s two parts. However, the third was an original storey named Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato, which took place six months after the show’s conclusion.
