It can be hard to find the truth in the Kdrama “Juvenile Justice,” which is about a bureaucratic and legal system that can be hard to work through. It was directed by Hong Jong-Chan from a story written by Kim Min-Seok. It is about Judge Sim Eun-Seok, who is feared by people in the juvenile justice department because of her intimidating personality. She also hates juvenile criminals. When she works with Cha Tae-Ju, she does a lot of research on the cases she takes on.
In this way, the show packs a new twist on a detective thriller in the closed hallways of the juvenile court in Yeonhwa. The series also has a star-studded cast, with Kim Hye-Soo in the lead and ambient music to add to the drama. The first season doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, but the episodic format suggests that there may be more to come down the road. It’s possible there could be a second season of “Juvenile Justice.” Here’s everything you need to know about a possible second season!
Juvenile Justice Season 2 Expected Release Date
This season was released on Netflix on February 25, 2022. It was the whole season! Each episode in the first season lasts anywhere from 54 to 69 minutes. There are ten episodes in the first season. Let’s now look into the possibilities for a second season. The second season could happen, but it’s not a long way off. Following its release on Netflix, the show got a lot of attention from fans and critics. In the show, court proceedings were shown in a very realistic way and the cast did a good job.
Even though the first season neatly wraps up events, the episodic nature of the story may be a good thing for the show to keep going. Netflix usually takes 2-3 months to get all the information it needs about how many people watch its shows, and the renewal process could take some time. If the show is renewed by the end of the year, we can expect the second season of “Juvenile Justice” to come out sometime in the fourth quarter of 2024 or after.
Juvenile Justice Season 2 Expected Cast
If there is a second season, Kim Hye-Soo might play Sim Eun-Seok (or Sim Eun-Seok). Kim Moo-yul might play Cha Tae-Ju. Lee Sang-Hee, Park Ji-Yeon, Shin Jae-Hwi, Geum Kwang-San, and Lee Jung-Eun could also return in other roles. They could play Joo Yeong-Sil, Woo Su-mi, Seo Beom, Bailiff Kyung Jung-Han, and Na Geun-hee. Lee Sung-Min may also play Kang Won-Jung, but now that the character has stepped down from his official role, it should be a guest role. It might also have a whole lot of new people in the cast if there are new characters in the possible second season.

Juvenile Justice Season 2 Expected Plotline
The first season comes to an end with the Yeonhwa Gang Rape Case verdict. When Kang Seon-A was killed, it was linked to Sim Eun-child Seok’s being killed. After learning this, Na Geun-Hee takes Eun-Seok off both the protection and the criminal cases, which means he won’t have to pay for anything. This audiotape is evidence against Hwang In-jun, but they can’t use it in court because they don’t have the right to. However, one of the girls from the gang decides to tell the truth about Baek Do-Hyeon.
That Baek Do-Hyeon, In-accomplice jun’s from the brick murder case, is the leader of a group that sells sex tapes. There is Baek Do-Hyeon in the den when Sim Eun-Seok goes to the Daeho Inn to look into the case. Judge Sim is hurt by the fight, but Na Geun-Hee has a change of heart at the last second. In this case, she gives Seon-A a chance to speak. Afterward, Sim Eun-Seok goes to her son’s grave to get some closure. She then goes to the Disciplinary Committee for a meeting with the head.
The possible second season may pick up where the first one left off. It’s possible that Judge Sim Eun-Seok will be a little more kind to young offenders. It’s true, though, that she told the Disciplinary Committee that her dislike for these kids will never go away. There is a chance that Na Geung-hee will go a little more in-depth with her plans. We’ll see if Sim Eun-Seok finally moves on with her life and if Cha Tae-Ju and Sim Eun-Seok are attracted to each other. But, maybe, that’s going too far.
We haven’t been able to see Cha Tae-past jun’s life up close. The possible second season might look into his life even more. It turns out that he has some dark secrets from the past, but the first season gives away some of them. If there is a second season, it might also look at cases like the Pureun Home of Girls Case again, It would be fun to see how O Seon-daughters Ja’s get along with the other girls. There will be more interesting cases for the possible second season to look into.
