They raised two kids, Steve Allen Lewis and Phoebe Allen Lewis. Young Brown gave birth to a son when she was just 14 years old.
At the tender age of three. Steve Allen Lewis tragically lost his life in a swimming pool accident in 1962. Brown claimed in her divorce petition from 1970 that she had been subjected to every type of physical and mental abuse imaginable by her husband and that this was grounds for divorce.
