One should be poured out for Jason Momoa’s hair, but you should be sure to use a cup that can be reused. On Monday, the actor who plays Aquaman posted a photo to Instagram showing him with his head shaved to promote the elimination of single-use plastics “out of our lives and out of our seas.”

As he displayed portions of his newly cut hair, Momoa remarked, “Shaving off the hair… doing it for single-use plastics.” Momoa had recently shaved his hair. “I’ve had enough with these plastic bottles; we have to put an end to this. Plastic forks and everything else made of plastic. It simply enters our territory and then flows into the surrounding water.

The actor, who is 43 years old, mentioned that he was in his home state of Hawaii and expressed his dissatisfaction with the status of the environment on the island. “I’m here in Hawaii, and it’s just so heartbreaking to see the things that are floating about in our ocean. Therefore, if there is anything at all that you can do to reduce the amount of plastic in your life, please assist me in this endeavour.

The message that he added to the video said, “Here’s to new beginnings let’s spread the aloha.” Protecting our land and waters should be a higher priority for you. It is imperative that we eliminate the use of single-use plastics in both our daily lives and in the oceans. Everything made of plastic—bottles, bags, and even utensils and packaging—should be recycled. Let’s all send aloha to our home together, shall we?

This isn’t the first time Momoa has shaved his head to bring attention to an environmental cause. In 2019, the famous actor from “Game of Thrones” shaved off his famous beard to bring attention to the fact that “plastics are killing our planet.”

Momoa urged people to use aluminium cans instead of plastic bottles in a video on his YouTube channel. In the video from three years ago, he said, “About 75% of all the aluminium that’s ever been used is still in use today, and it’s 100% recyclable.” “So you drink the aluminium can, and it’ll be back in about 60 days.” The video was used to help promote his company, Mananalu, which makes aluminium water bottles.

Momoa decided to cut his hair almost two months after he hit a motorcyclist near Los Angeles. In July, the actor was not hurt in a car accident, and the motorcyclist had only minor injuries. This year, the “Dune” star was in the news because he and his partner of 17 years, Lisa Bonet, broke up.

“We have all felt the pressure and changes of these times of change… There is a revolution going on, and our family is no different… “We are both feeling and growing from the seismic shifts that are happening,” Momoa and Bonet wrote in an Instagram post that has since been taken down.

“We’re not telling you this because we think it’s newsworthy. We’re telling you this so that you can live your life with dignity and honesty,” Momoa said. “Our love keeps growing and changing in ways it wants to be known and experienced. We give each other the freedom to be who we are becoming… Our unwavering devotion to this holy life and to our children.”
