Jamey Johnson Blackberry Smoke Reschedule Show After Member Suffers Serious Heart Attack

The St. Louis concert scheduled for Tuesday by Jamey Johnson and Blackberry Smoke had to be rescheduled. Drummer Brit Turner of Blackberry Smoke collapsed from a heart attack. Please refer to the note from Johnson and Associates attached below. In this post, you will read about why Jamey Johnson Blackberry Smoke reschedule show and other details.

A member of Blackberry Smoke is ill, therefore the band has decided to postpone Jamey Johnson’s gig tomorrow in St. Louis until September 13. We hope to see you all in St. Louis next month, and wish him a speedy recovery in the meantime!” Jamey Johnson said as the post’s caption.

The cancellation note was penned by Blackberry Smoke. The rest of the group also signed it. Brother and drummer Brit Turner had a heart attack on Sunday, August 15. He was at his Atlanta home and got to the hospital immediately for doctors to do everything they could for him; they inserted a stent into his coronary artery, and he is doing OK now. He and his loved ones ask for privacy during this time of healing.

Due to this, we have decided to reschedule tomorrow night’s (Tuesday, August 16) concert at the St. Louis Music Park, which was set to feature Jamey Johnson and Ella Langley. The new date is Tuesday, September 13, and all already purchased tickets will be honored.
