As Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s relationship gets stronger, talk has turned to whether or not they will have a baby (or maybe in the near future). Since they told people they were getting married in October 2021, Blake and Gwen have heard that Gwen is pregnant. Blake’s joke on a recent episode of The Voice started a lot of rumors. So, do the words have any truth to them? What we know is as follows.
Is Gwen Stefani Pregnant?
It wasn’t until May of 2020 that people started spreading the notion that Gwen was expecting. Star magazine had stated that the couple was expecting twins via in vitro fertilization. At this moment (after almost an entire year has passed), it is safe to say that the rumor in question was completely false.
If the couple decides to start a family, there is a good chance they will share their plans with the world. Even if they don’t spill the beans on every aspect of their personal lives, they are usually good about keeping their supporters in the loop on the most important news. This includes the announcement of their engagement, which they made to their followers in October 2020.
Blake rekindled the suspicions during an episode of Season 20 of The Voice when he mentioned Gwen and then joked that she was absent from the show because she was “delivering twins right now.” It is possible that Blake did this unintentionally. He said, “While I’m working, she’s releasing them into the environment.”
Although it is pretty evident that the comment was intended to be nothing more than a jest (perhaps referring to the false rumor about IVF), it did cause a lot of people to ponder whether or not there was any truth to it. However, based on what we know thus far, the answer appears to be no. It turns out that Blake was merely joking.

Gwen Stefani Has Three Kids Already
Gwen is already a mother three times, even though she doesn’t have any kids with Blake yet. She was married to Gavin Rossdale from 1995 to 2015 when they said they were getting a divorce because they couldn’t get along. They have three boys together. Since then, Blake has been Gwen’s most public and well-known boyfriend. Blake had also just gotten divorced when they met, so they had much in common.
Blake has grown close to Gwen’s sons, even though he is not their father. A source who talked to People said that before Blake proposed, he even asked her sons for their blessing. “Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked for their permission,” the source said. “Her family is very happy with him. He’s a great partner and the boys love having him around. Gwen is very happy. The idea came as a shock.”
Blake never had his children while he was married to Miranda Lambert, but he has discussed Gwen’s children extensively in interviews. “Sometimes you think, ‘Oh my God, when does school start?'” he told People in an interview. “After an hour, you think, “God, I can’t wait for them to get home.” They are so hilarious. I’ve never been there before, but it’s easy to fall in love with those kids. They’re unique.”
There are many pictures of Blake with Gwen’s kids on social media. Since they are getting married, Gwen’s kids will probably see Blake even more than they do now. Still unknown is whether or not the couple wants to have their kids.
