Over the weekend, a University of Dayton graduate passed away only hours after graduation. According to NBC network WPXI and CBS affiliate WHIO-TV, Ian Brunner, 22, was working underneath his car on campus Sunday night when it abruptly overturned and landed on top of him.
Someone who contacted 911 stated that the jack supporting Brunner’s car “fell out” and left the recent college graduate “trapped underneath.
“He is unresponsive,” the individual said. “We need assistance immediately. Like fast!” A black two-door automobile was on top of the victim when emergency personnel, who were called to the scene at 7 p.m., arrived at the student housing complex on Irving Avenue.
According to the media sources, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Brunner, who was declared dead at the scene.
