At 6′ 6″, Dave Bautista dwarfs almost everyone on the set. He is now a half-foot taller than Captain America and two inches taller than actor Jeff Goldblum. In the Guardians of the Galaxy series, Bautista plays Drax.
Despite Bautista’s height, Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, is not supposed to be taller than him. To make Bautista appear shorter, filmmakers had to utilize cinematic ruse.
