Hocus Pocus Storyline
Thackery Binx watches as his younger sister, Emily, is taken away to the forest by the Sanderson sisters, three witches called Winifred, Sarah, and Mary, who live in Salem, Massachusetts. Thackery Binx is a little boy who lives in Salem, Massachusetts.
When Emily arrives at their bungalow, the witches give her a combination that allows them to consume her childhood while also recapturing their own, murdering her in the process.
Thackery fights the witches, but he is transformed into a black feline and cursed to live forever with the guilt he feels for not rescuing Emily from the witches. In an unexpected turn of events, the townspeople, led by Thackery’s friend, Elijah, and Binx’s father, apprehend the sisters and condemn them to death by hanging for the murder of Thackery and Emily, respectively.
Prior to their execution, Winifred projected a revile that, if a virgin burns the Black Flame Candle on All Hallows’ Eve during a full moon, would return the sisters to their former selves. Thackery decides to keep an eye on the cottage in order to ensure that the witches do not congregate there.
