The Winx Saga, a live-action remake of the popular Winx Club animated series for children, has become a hit with Netflix subscribers. Season one of The Vampire Diaries’ Brain Young premiered in January and introduced us to a group of five fairies who attend a magical school located in the Otherworld.
Bloom (Abigail Cowen), a fire fairy raised in the human world after being swapped with a human child at birth, is the focus of the show’s first season. The headmistress of Alfea’s “specialists” school, Farah Dowling, recruits Bloom despite her lack of control over her destructive powers, which resulted in a fire that left her adoptive mother severely scarred (Eve Best). Awakening an ancient power within her and using it to defeat an incoming attack by supernatural creatures known as Burned Ones is the culmination of the first season for Bloom.
The first season of Fate: The Winx Saga had a lot going on, but it felt more like a teaser for a larger and more in-depth storyline. Fortunately, we’re getting a better sense of what this journey is all about. What do we know about the second season of this Netflix show?
Fate The Winx Saga season 2 Release Date
Netflix confirmed that Fate: The Winx Saga would return for a second season in mid-February, less than one month after the show’s premiere. The announcement was made through a themed renewal announcement video. The next season will consist of eight one-hour episodes, an increase over the previous season’s six one-hour episodes. However, there is no specific date for when these new episodes will be broadcast on television, so we don’t yet know when they will be available.
The good news is that we do have some information that will allow us to make an educated judgment as to when the film will be released. According to Netflix, the second season will begin filming in Ireland later this year or early next year. The fact that the start date is being moved forward rather than being pushed back could indicate that Bloom and her companions will be back somewhere near the end of the year. Because of the show’s reliance on special effects, it’s more likely that it will spend some time in post-production and won’t return until the first quarter of 2022, rather than the second quarter. That is, of course, assuming that COVID-19 does not cause a delay in manufacturing.

Fate The Winx Saga Season 2: New Character Info
The second season of Fate: The Winx Saga will include several of the original cast members returning. This time around, Abigail Cowen will reprise her role as Bloom, a super-strong fire fairy who has just lately learned how to master her abilities. In the meantime, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Precious Mustapha, Eliot Salt, and Elisha Applebaum will return as Stella, a second-year student and fairy with the ability to control light; Precious Mustapha, a water fairy with athletic prowess who is Bloom’s roommate; and Eliot Salt, an earth fairy whose father teaches at Alfea; and Elisha Applebaum, a mind fairy with the ability to
Given that Danny Griffin’s Sky and Ken Duken’s Andreas appeared in the season 1 finale, we won’t be surprised if both characters return in season 2 as well. Additional cast members will be confirmed in the future. When everyone assumed Sky’s father had died, Robert James-character Collier’s Saul Silva, the fencing instructor at Alfea, stepped in to act as a father figure for him.
Eve Best, who played Alfea’s headmistress Farah Dowling in season one, is unlikely to return for season two. Rosalind, Alfea’s previous headmistress (played by Lesley Sharp), shot and killed her in the final moments of the season 1 finale. In season 2, you may expect the same from the other woman.

Fate The Winx Saga season 2 Plot:
The first season of Fate: The Winx Saga, according to showrunner and executive producer Brian Young, was merely the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more to this magical realm and its mighty fairies than we saw in season one,” Young said in a statement confirming the show’s renewal. “The story of Bloom’s characters, Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa, is going to keep getting better and better! Next term at Alfean, you never know who might show up!”
A lot more about season 2 isn’t revealed in Young’s remark, although new characters sound like they’ll be added. Rosalind, who had been released from jail by manipulating Bloom, is now in command at Alfea after murdering Dowling. The second season of the show will have to cope with the ramifications of those events. Adding to the confusion is the revelation that Andreas did not “die” a war hero when he rose from the dead, which is stunning enough on its own. To save the lives of innocent people, Silva assassinated Andreas, believing he was on a mission to wipe out a large city. However, it is certain that he survived. Rosalind nursed him back to health so that he could go into hiding and assist her in her evil plans for Alfea and the fairies until he was safe to return.
Season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga is sure to have a convoluted storyline.
