Euphoria Season 3- Is It Returning? Renewed Or Cancelled!

Season 2 of Euphoria is still in its early stages (it releases on January 9, in case you were wondering!) and is far from finished. Does this, however, prevent die-hard fans from already questioning whether or not there will be a third season? No way, not at all! Does it make sense for me to have a seemingly endless supply of binge-worthy teen drama and neon-colored cosmetics injected directly into my veins? Better believe it than not! And can you really blame me? The show is insanely entertaining!

Unfortunately, HBO has not confirmed whether or not there will be a third season of Euphoria as of this writing. However, given how well season 1 performed and the anticipation that has built up for season 2, a third season seems like a no-brainer, doesn’t it? Here’s what we currently know.

Are there any plans for Euphoria Season 3?

Season 2 hasn’t finished broadcasting yet, and it won’t for a couple of weeks, so it’s still unclear where we’ll be left in terms of storyline leading into a hypothetical season 3 of the show. We’re in for a wild ride, if the rest of the season is anything like what we’ve seen thus far. We already know that Rue relapsed at the end of season 1 after leaving Jules all alone at the train station, so it’s safe to presume that season 2 will deal with Rue’s relapse as well. And, given the fact that Rue’s battle with heroin addiction is a significant storyline point of the show, it’s safe to assume that it will continue into season 3 if that happens.

Euphoria Season 3: Release Date

Season 3 of Euphoria won’t begin unless HBO confirms its renewal. It premiered in June 2019 for Season 1 and in January 2022 for Season 2.

In contrast, the COVID epidemic severely impacted Season 2 production, which was originally scheduled to begin shooting in early 2020 but did not begin until April 2021, a full year later.

Euphoria season 3 is expected to launch in early 2023 if filming goes as planned.

If We Get Euphoria Season 3, Who Will Return?

Although the outcome of season 2 of Euphoria is still up in the air, we anticipate that the main cast will return for a third season. As a result, we anticipate that the following casts will all return in their respective roles:

Jacob Elordi plays Nate.
Alexa Demie plays Maddy.
Barbie Ferreira plays Kat.
Angus Cloud plays Fez.
Chris Algee Smith plays Chris.
Cassie is played by Sydney Sweeney.
Lexi is played by Maude Apatow.
Elliot is played by Dominic Fike.

Season 3 will also see the return of the majority of the supporting cast as well as the introduction of several new characters. We may see one or more of our favorite characters die in the Season 2 finale, which is possible given the fact that Fez was supposed to die at the end of Season 1.

How soon can we expect to see new episodes?

If you’re hoping to put a tentative release date on your calendar, you may have to hold off for a moment because determining when a third season might launch is proving to be a little difficult at the moment. Season 1 was released in June of this year, which means season 2 has been in the works for more than TWO YEARS (we can thank Miss Rona for the long wait). Season 1 is available on Netflix now. So, barring some unexpected, production-halting world event (you better keep your fingers crossed!! ), a third season of The Walking Dead should be released much, much sooner than previously anticipated. Simply make a small prayer to the HBO deities and hope for the best!
