Ethics Policy

The editorial rules of Journalist PR Media are in accordance with the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics, and the company maintains an internal style manual. Journalist PR journalists are truthful and brave in their information collection, reporting, and interpretation. They seek and present the truth.

By treating sources, subjects, coworkers, and members of the public like respectable human beings, they reduce harm. They have a duty to serve the public and abstain from conflicts of interest while acting independently. Additionally, they are transparent and accountable, taking ownership of their work and sharing the rationale behind their judgments with the public.

In addition, Journalist PR works to include perspectives of those frequently left out of mainstream coverage, such as community members, movement leaders, and those who are directly impacted by the subjects on which Journalist PR reports. This is because Journalist PR believes that systemic change starts at the grassroots level. This concentration does not, however, diminish Journalist PR’s dedication to publishing objective, factual reporting and analysis, along with clearly labelled commentary and opinion.
