While the globe is dealing with the COVID pandemic, I’ve been enjoying my time at home with the family,” Elton wrote on social media. In spite of everything, I miss my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour and the opportunity to play for my adoring fans. Our plans for a return to public tours will allow us to protect everyone’s health and safety even while scientists make enormous strides.
In the fall of 2021, I want to resume my European and UK tour. In addition, I plan to return to North America in January 2022. This implies I won’t be able to perform in New Zealand until 2023 at the earliest. You don’t have to be concerned about me. During my free time, I’m keeping myself in better shape than ever to fight.
To be honest, I’m ready to get started. As always, I appreciate your continued support. I eagerly anticipate meeting all of you lovely Elton John fans in the near future. Please keep safe and healthy in the meanwhile. “Thank you!”
The saddest of news to wake up to. Olivia was a beautiful and courageous woman, who I never heard complain about her illness. A beautiful voice and a warm and loving friend. I will miss her so much. Condolences to her family and loved ones. pic.twitter.com/Ssc6h8WDKh
