The Eden of the East Season 2: Release Date Status, Cast, Plot and More

Eden of the East Season 2

Eden of the East Season 2

‘Eden of the East has a very interesting storyline with gripping mysteries, adorable characters, and flowing animation. The well-structured level of suspense that is in each episode is enough to make you want more. This storyline is supposed to be fun until the end of season one, but its biggest problem is that it never gets you to anything meaningful. Even after the two sequel films, the anime lacks a proper ending and after a certain amount of time, it appears the anime is not making any progress. If you like shows that can be withdrawn or left at any time due to their lack of an overall story, ‘Eden of the East is the perfect anime for you. But if you’re more into anime that connects the dots later and everything that happens in them leads to something bigger later, you may want to look in a different direction.

The strong point of ‘Eden of the East is its incredible production value. Coming from Production I.G Studio, known for producing great anime shows like ‘Psycho-Pass’ and ‘Kuroko no Basket’, The expectations were really high from this. The quality of the animation remains smooth and consistent and features some stunning images with beautiful bright colors and backgrounds that look painted with the most delicate strokes. Overall, ‘Eden of the East is definitely a fun anime, but it could have been more of a masterpiece if only it had a definitive ending. Even then, I would definitely recommend it to any mystery lover out there.

Initially, the creators of the anime were planning to come out with a new season after the premiere, but later on, have changed. their mind and came out with two anime films released on November 28, 2009, and March 13, 2010. Commercially, these films were a huge success and worked in the series’ favor, but even then many fans were disappointed that the creators have abandoned the idea of making a full-fledged season.

It’s been nearly a decade since the show’s release, and now it looks like the creators have left the series far behind. Being an original anime that is not based on any light novel or manga, ‘Eden of the East’ can be revived at any time, but only if the creators want to bring it back. She is suddenly drawn into the mystery game after meeting a strange naked man on a street while she was on vacation in Washington DC. After a series of strange events, she finds herself traveling with the man who tries to end the situation she was put into. She is mostly portrayed as a kind and indulgent woman who can certainly get her bearings if she wanted to. Though it’s not obvious at first, her intelligence is key to her survival and she uses it effectively to pull herself out of desperate situations.
