Disney Lightyear Cast
When the project was first unveiled in December 2020, it was revealed that Chris Evans had been cast as the human version of Buzz Lightyear. Evans was the first and only candidate MacLane considered for the role of Buzz.
He paid a visit to Pixar’s studios one day, and the company pitched him on the idea while he was there. As a result of his passion for animation, Evans accepted the offer instantly. Taika Waititi has been cast in an unspecified role in the next film.
