DEMI LOVATO visited The Tonight Show to sing “Substance,” her latest hit. Lovato, backed by a band, sang lead on and played guitar for an upbeat pop-punk single last month. Here you will read about Demi Lovato’s Substance Punk-Inspired performance, so keep reading for more details:

Lovato’s upcoming album, Holy Fvck, has the song “Substance,” and it will be released on August 19. Lovato, Oak, Keith Sorrells, Alex Niceforo, Laura Veltz, and Jordan Lutes all contributed to the song’s writing, and Oak, Sorrells, and Niceforo were responsible for its production.

Lovato said in a statement upon the track’s release, “I’m so eager to give another taste of what’s in store for this album.” “I want this song to make you feel like you’re having a darn fantastic time while seeking for something more in life because we can all identify with that feeling.”

Lovato and Jimmy Fallon got down to talk about their new music and the moment when Kelly Clarkson sang one of their songs and how full circle it felt. They also engaged in a round of Quicktionary between the singer and Fallon.

Last month, with the release of “Skin of My Teeth,” the lead single from Holy Fvck, Lovato ushered in a new rock era for the band. The vocalist has not only released “Substance,” but the entire track listing for the album as well. It features duets with Yungblud, Royal & The Serpent, and Dead Sara. It’s not too late to pre-order the album.
