Cyberpunk Edgerunners is an upcoming anime that mixes two rad flavors, Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, into one 10-episode plate of a violent sensory explosion, transmitted straight into the brains of everyone with a Netflix account. And it now has a release date, giving us all plenty of time to be ready.

The Edgerunners movie’s new trailer, which will debut on September 13th, is NSFW. Both the other trailers and this one feature a lot of sensory stimulation and flashes, but due to the removal of social conventions like polite social gatherings, this one features a lot more bodily fluids.
Edgerunners, like the greatest Studio Trigger work, appears to be an incredibly relentless attack, showing a version of CD Projekt Red’s troubled yet captivating action RPG that’s as chaotic as it is stylish. It seems to be a show about the consequences of spending too much time online in the future when doing so can blow your brain out. In that universe, I wouldn’t post nearly as much.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be available to stream on Netflix on September 13.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Video Debut
While “Acid Breather” by Mastiff plays in the background, the first clip highlights the brutal tone of the show and gives us a glimpse of some pretty strong female characters. In Cyberpunk 2077, there are a lot of songs like that playing on the radio.
What Exactly Is Cyberpunk Edgerunners About?
From Netflix, Edgerunners is a story about “a street boy attempting to survive in a futuristic city fascinated with technology and bodily alteration.” With little to lose, he decides to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner-a mercenary outlaw also known as “cyberpunk.”
