The video for Calvin Harris’s latest, “Stay With Me,” combines VIP rooms and kaleidoscopic interiors with glittering graphics and even glitzier stars.
It was released on Friday (July 15) and features Halsey, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell singing the funk-infused disco opus in a shimmy, spin, and lightly psychedelic universe. Timberlake even plays air guitar while dancing on a moving walkway, evoking the video for Jamiroquai’s classic “Virtual Insanity.”

Additionally, Harris appears twice in the video: once in soft focus and surrounded by palm trees on the side of the road while the actors get into a pair of immaculate chauffeured cars. Emil Nava, who directed Harris’ “Promises” video with Sam Smith, “One Kiss” video with Dua Lipa, and “Over Now” video, directed the video (with The Weeknd.) Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, the producer’s first album since 2017’s Vol. 1, will feature all three of these songs as lead singles. Snoop Dogg, Chloe Bailey, Stefflon Don, Charlie Puth, Shenseea, Tinashe, Normani, Lil Durk, Offset, 6lack, Coi LeRay, Busta Rhymes, Latto, Swae Lee, and Swae Lee will all appear on the new album, which will be released on August 5.

Young Thug and Pharrell Williams, as well as Katy Perry, Frank Ocean, Migos, and Nicki Minaj, all appeared on the previous Funk Wav Bounces volume, which was released in 2017. Billboard 200, where it debuted at No. 2, the album spent 42 weeks.
