It was reported that the 29-year-old actor was previously criminally charged with DUI after he was pulled over in Burbank, CA.

The Edge of Seventeen stars was pulled over by Burbank police on July 9 for failing to stop at a red light, according to the Burbank Police Department. He was requested to conduct a series of conventional field sobriety tests, in which he “did not perform the tasks as demonstrated and directed” by officers during the traffic stop, according to the report.

We have confirmed that the actor was caught and jailed for a misdemeanor DUI and has already been released with a penalty, according to the police. At a later date, Jenner will also be required to appear in court.

After winning the reality show The Glee Project in 2012, Jenner landed his breakthrough role on Glee as Ryder Lynn. He appeared in the show’s fourth and fifth seasons.

In 2013, Jenner proposed to Glee co-star Melissa Benoist, and the two are said to have married two years after that. Benoist filed for divorce in 2016, citing an inability to come to terms with his wife’s infidelity as the reason.

Benoist posted a video on Instagram in November 2019 in which he recounted an experience of domestic violence. Her alleged attacker was not identified by name, but she described him as a younger man who was immature. In a long statement released almost a year later, Jenner responded to the claims, claiming that his marriage to Benoist had been marked by “moments of jealousy, spells of insecurity, and instability.”

Spencer Webb’s girlfriend mourns the loss of her “twin flame.” When it comes to his ex-wife, Jenner says she was “emotionally, mentally, and yes, physically” abusive, but he accuses her of being abusive toward him in his message.

“There are many things that I wish I could have done differently,” Jenner said at the time. “Despite how much I wish it didn’t, I promise myself that I will never again make the same mistakes we did during our relationship. I’ll never give up striving to be the best version of myself in every aspect of my life. I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday season.”
