Banana Fish Season 2 Release Date Status, Plot, and Trailer

Banana Fish Season 2

Banana Fish Season 2

A Japanese manga series titled Banana Fish Season 2 is currently the most anticipated series. Season 1 premiered in 1985 and concluded in April 1994. After a 20-year wait, MAPPA, a Japanese anime studio, published the manga’s anime adaptation in July 2018. It contains 24 episodes, similar to the first season. Despite the fact that the anime’s final episode was released two years ago, fans are impatiently awaiting season 2.

When will the second season of the anime be released? Is there going to be a second season? Numerous positive reviews were written for the series following the season finale’s critical praise on December 19, 2018. According to IMDb data, the anime was uploaded on Amazon Prime and received a 7.9 rating globally. I’d want to take a moment to reflect on the series’s storey over the last two years before proceeding with the release date.

Season 1 of Banana Fish aired from July 6th to December 21st, 2018 and consisted of 24 episodes. Despite Season 1’s success, MAPPA has not yet announced a second season.

Is there going to be another season? We believe this is highly improbable. To begin, Season 1 adapts all six volumes of the manga series. It concludes on a tone that suggests the likelihood of a second season is little to none. Five side stories are connected to the manga. Private Opinion and Garden of Light are two stories that could be adapted for a second season.

These secondary tales are insufficient to sustain a second season. Instead of a new season, MAPPA may choose to make original video animation (OVA), or special episodes based on side storylines. Because MAPPA has not made an official declaration regarding the show’s future, it is hard to tell for certain. Our best bet is that Banana Fish season 2 will premiere in 2021, assuming the anime is renewed. We are keeping an ear to the ground for any news regarding Banana Fish’s future and will update this section as new information becomes available.

Banana Fish is a crime thriller set in America. Ash Lynx is the series’ protagonist, with an incredibly endearing appearance and unmatched fighting ability. At the age of 17, Ash is the head of a street gang of children in New York City.

When Ash was a child, his elder brother, Griffin Callenreese, became enraged one night and opened fire on his squad while serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War in 1973. By pronouncing the phrase “Banana Fish,” the boy collapsing. He developed a mental disability and began living with his brother Ash in New York City, under his care.

Ash’s life changed forever when a dying man shot by his subordinate handed him a flask of a chemical and a location in California, while also saying “Banana Fish.” Ash begins investigating “Banana Fish” as a result of its source’s curiosity, which sets in motion a series of events in the novel.

What We Can See In Season 2 Of Banana Fish?

If a probable second season occurs, it does not appear to be possible without our protagonist Ash. So, is Ash truly gone? Certain fans are unable to accept this demise. Despite being stabbed, there was no blood on the ground, and after all the hardships, such a death is extremely unjust, even for the writers. Perhaps a second season will see Ash and Eiji reunited. Regrettably, these projections remain near-impossible.
