Aod, Astrophotography, And Rcs Iphone Jabs Were Part Of The Pixel 7 Launch

Google started its announcement of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro with a series of digs about the iPhone and how the Pixel series was first in a number of ways.

Pixel has always been a leader in smartphone innovation, and we consider it a compliment when others in the industry follow suit, as Brian Rakowski of Google stated. He continued by mentioning that an always-on display was first offered by the Pixel 2 in 2017, along with the “At a Glance” feature.

When Apple at long last introduced this standard component seen in Android phones, this was the highlight of the iPhone 14 Pro, which was released a month ago. In the meantime, Apple’s approach to AOD for the iPhone has been criticized for being too on.

More Update:

The Night Sight and Astrophotography features that came with the Pixel 3 in 2018 were the next to be released, and one year later, the iPhone 11 launched Night Mode, which subsequently gained enhancements.

This section ultimately focused on Google’s Pixel 4’s collision detection capability in 2019, even though the iPhone 14 and Apple Watch have only recently begun supporting this functionality. The previous message stated:

That’s an amazing track record of groundbreaking features, first seen on the Pixel, that make the experience of using your phone that much more rewarding.

In a later announcement, Google described how the Pixel 7 “uses RCS for sophisticated media sharing and end-to-end encryption.” This is merely the most recent request that Apple has made to put Rich Communication Services into action. Typically, the Android team is the one responsible for this push.

RCS is the current industry standard for messaging and has already been adopted by much of the industry. We hope that every device manufacturer will understand this and implement RCS, improving text messaging for every smartphone user.
