The car and the house were both set on fire after a woman drove into one another in Los Angeles’ Mar Vista area on Friday, according to authorities. It has been told by a source with knowledge of the situation that Anne Heche was the driver.

When the driver lost control and slammed into a house, Los Angeles Police Public Info Officer Jeff Lee tells that she was going fast. Because of the collision, the vehicle caught fire, and the driver was left with burn injuries. Los Angeles Fire Department rescuers rushed her to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
