Tammy Slaton is making the most of her life. The 1000-Lb Sisters’ night out was captured by Amy Slaton as they went to see Kevin Gates perform. The Instagram photo, which has almost 26,000 likes, warmed Amy’s fans’ hearts.
“I’m so happy you sisters can make new memories. Seriously that makes me so happy,” read one reply. “So happy the two of you can finally do fun things together like go out to concerts!!!🙌👏👏” Another follower said.
Just a few days prior, Tammy, 36, posted images of herself on Instagram “without filters” along with a picture of her oxygen tube, garnering an outpouring of love from her followers. Tammy’s weight loss specialist Dr. Eric Smith added a supportive note.
Smith wrote, “So proud of you.”
Tammy was initially observed walking alone after surgery in early May while shopping in Indiana. Tammy required a wheelchair or walker before her expedition to help with her mobility.
The reality star has been providing fans of the popular TLC program an inside look at her life in an Ohio weight loss recovery center as she has been sharing her journey with them.
In one episode, Tammy reached her weight loss objective; she had to go from 717 pounds to 550 pounds to be eligible for weight loss surgery, but she did better than that, dropping to 534 pounds.

“When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second,” she said during the Feb. 7 episode. “I’m like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that’s a huge drop.”
“I’m feeling thrilled, proud, excited — just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!” Tammy continued.
