Adrienne Bailon Talk About His Pregnancy
Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton just got a big surprise: their first child was born through surrogacy. Congratulations to them! “Ever James,” the 38-year-old former co-host of “The Real,” wrote Tuesday on Instagram, along with a photo of the couple holding their newborn son.
Bailon had talked before about how hard it was for her to get pregnant, so the birth came as a big surprise to everyone. “Our baby boy is here, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’ve been following our love story, you know that getting pregnant has been hard, but God always keeps His words and promises “she went on.
For the past 9 months, we have quietly prayed while sitting on this most wonderful secret. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, and every miscarriage.” How much does IVF cost? Surrogacy? Adoption? Here are the costs of not being able to have children.

Bailon thanked “our angel surrogate” and her family and friends, “who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey.” She said of her son, “He’s here, and we’ve never been happier to lose sleep!” She said on her old talk show, which ended this year after eight seasons, that trying to get pregnant “isn’t what I thought it would be,” especially when rumors and gossip are involved. She said, “I thought it would be so easy for me, but it hasn’t worked out that way.”
Bailon added, “I’ve had to come to peace with that, that it’ll happen when it’s God’s timing and I believe in that and I have faith in all of that. But it can be really discouraging and it can be really frustrating.”
The former Cheetah Girls member married her gospel singer husband and “best friend in the whole world” in November 2016. Ever James is Bailon’s first child and Houghton’s fifth; he has four other children from a previous relationship.
“I think that as an audience, we should be sensitive to the fact that not everybody gets pregnant right away,” Bailon continued. “I think that we should be aware of the fact that not everybody gets pregnant right away.” “I think for myself, I expected it would come so effortlessly for me, and it just hasn’t occurred that way,” she said. “I think for myself I imagined it would happen so easily for me.”
She remarked, “I’ve had to come to peace with the fact that it’ll happen when it’s God’s timing, and I believe that, and I have confidence in all of that.” “I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that it’ll happen when it’s God’s timing.” “However, this can be an extremely disappointing and a really stressful experience for you.”
“I think I looked at myself and in my mind, I was like, ‘I’m a Cheetah Girl, I’m 19 years old’ and then I woke up and was like actually, I’m going to be 35 in a few weeks and that makes a big difference. I can feel as youthful as I want in the inside and in my heart, but my ovaries are what they are and that sucks to hear that,” Bailon explained at the time.

Bailon also admitted that she thought that “having wide hips and the fact that I’m Latina — I thought that if my husband looked at me I’d get pregnant.” “I really believed that and it just hasn’t been that way.”
Something More Aout Their Personal Life
Bailon dated Rob Kardashian from 2007 to 2009. After that, it came out that he cheated on her, so they broke up. On February 5, 2015, Bailon announced on Instagram an episode of “The Real” that she was engaged to her boyfriend of six years, Lenny Santiago, a music executive at Jay-Roc Z’s Nation label.
They called off the wedding in September 2015. After going out with musician Israel Houghton for six months, Bailon got engaged to him in August 2016. On November 11, 2016, they got married in Paris. Then, Bailon became the stepmother of Israel’s four kids from his first marriage.
