Adrienne Eliza Bailon was born on October 24, 1983, in Manhattan, New York. Her mother, Nilda Alicea, is from Puerto Rico, and her father, Freddie Bailon, is from Ecuador. Bailon thanked “our angel surrogate” and her family and friends, “who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey.” She said of her son, “He’s here, and we’ve never been happier to lose sleep!” She said on her old talk show, which ended this year after eight seasons, that trying to get pregnant “isn’t what I thought it would be,” especially when rumors and gossip are involved. She said, “I thought it would be so easy for me, but it hasn’t worked out that way.”
Bailon added, “I’ve had to come to peace with that, that it’ll happen when it’s God’s timing and I believe in that and I have faith in all of that. But it can be really discouraging and it can be really frustrating.”

They called off the wedding in September 2015. After going out with musician Israel Houghton for six months, Bailon got engaged to him in August 2016. On November 11, 2016, they got married in Paris. Then, Bailon became the stepmother of Israel’s four kids from his first marriage.
