According to the authorities, a collision that occurred early Saturday morning in upstate New York and included a freight truck and an express bus resulted in the deaths of six persons and injured three others.

According to a press release issued by the agency, the New York State Police reacted to a collision involving a bus and a Freightliner box truck at approximately 6:00 a.m. ET on State Highway 37 in the town of Louisville, which is located close to the border between the United States and Canada.

According to the state police, the collision left three persons with serious injuries, including one person in critical condition and two people who were riding the express bus. According to the announcement, victims were sent to a number of different hospitals after the attack.
