Elle King is once more engaged! The singer of “Ex’s and Oh’s” announced her engagement to boyfriend Dan Tooker on Instagram on October 9 after a year of dating.
“Today is our 1 year anniversary. We rode horses up a mountain to go gold panning,” King captioned Instagram her post. “I had a ring in my pocket and I was going to toss it in the gold pan and propose to @tattooker … but of course, my soulmate beat me to the punch and proposed to me the exact same way.”

King continued by saying that as soon as he bent down on one knee, she did too, and the two of them simultaneously proposed. They’re so 2020! We adore a forward-thinking proposal!
And her ring is also noteworthy, though it carries a hefty price tag. According to Andrew Brown, CEO of WP Diamonds and a diamond expert, the price of the distinctive ring was probably over $20,000.
“Elle King’s gorgeous engagement ring appears to be an intricate multi-stone diamond ring comprised of two ‘flowers,’ each featuring a 1ct round brilliant center stone,” says Brown.
“Sprouting from the center stones, numerous smaller stones dot the stems and petals—with the total ring weight around 3cts.”

King’s third engagement is this one. Before their breakup in 2017, the singer secretly wed Andrew Ferguson in 2016. King announced her engagement to Jim, her 15-month partner, in July 2019.
But luck favors the third attempt! King admitted to spending “the most time” with Tooker during her quarantine than she ever has with any other significant other in a July interview with Entertainment Today.
“It can 100% break a relationship,” she said. “But for us, it just made us stronger.” On their special outing, it appears that the two discovered a little more than just gold. Congrats to the happy couple are in order!
