Black Panther 2 Wakanda Forever: Is It Coming In November?

Black Panther 2 will be in theatres later this year, and we’ve seen enough footage so far to figure out a few things about the eagerly-awaited sequel. The sad first trailer was shown at Comic-Con on July 23 during Marvel’s epic presentation. It confirmed that T’Challa’s death would be a part of the story after Chadwick Boseman died in a tragic accident in August 2020.

Since then, we’ve seen another trailer, which gives us more to look at for clues about what the second movie will be about and who will play the superhero in the title. So far, this is what we know about the new Black Panther movie, Wakanda Forever.

Black Panther 2 Cast:

It has been confirmed that the sequel will honor Chadwick Boseman’s role as T’Challa and not give it to someone else. Also, there are no plans to use a “digital double” in the sequel, which is good news. Victoria Alonso, an executive vice president at Marvel Studios, said, “There’s only one Chadwick, and he’s not with us.”

“Unfortunately, our king has died in real life, not just in stories, and we are taking a little time to figure out how to return to history and what to do to honor something that happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible.”

Kevin Feige added: “Wakanda is a place where more can be learned about characters and different groups of people. The next story was always, and at first, mostly about this. We won’t have a CG Chadwick, and we won’t change who plays T’Challa.”

In the sequel, Shuri, Nakia, M’Baku, Okoye, Ramonda, and M’Kathu are all played by Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, and Danny Sapani, in that order.

Duke is getting an “expanded role” in the sequel, but Marvel hasn’t confirmed this yet. Meanwhile, Tenoch Huerta from Narcos: Mexico will play Namor, who is guaranteed to be a mutant in the movie.

More For You:

The actor, who played W’Kabi of the Border Chief tribe in the first movie, said that he didn’t film any scenes for the second movie because he had to work on Nope, which reunites him with getting Out director Jordan Peele, and filming for both movies happened at the same time.

I May Destroy You star Michaela Coel and UFC champion Kamaru Usman have joined the cast, but their roles haven’t been decided. If Beale Street Could Talk, ‘s Dominique Thorne will make her MCU debut as Riri Williams, aka Ironheart.

Anthony Mackie, who played Falcon and the Winter Soldier, was also on set. However, he said he was not in the movie and was just visiting the set. This could, of course, be a big trick like when the Spider-Men got back together. Just wait and see. Behind the scenes, Ryan Coogler is coming back to write and direct Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, bringing back the original creative cast.

Black Panther 2 Plot:

Initial trailer, first plot summary. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje combat world powers after King T’Challa’s death. The heroes must work together with War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross to build a new path for Wakanda.

Production Weekly’s early narrative outlines suggested Wakanda Forever would involve Namor. Wakanda and Atlantis are hidden civilizations with sophisticated technology and militaristic abilities that separate themselves for safety and fear.

Wakanda feared technology abuse. Atlantis worried surface dwellers would defile the sacred city again. When these once-hidden nations meet, their worries grow.” Kevin Feige said he intended to explore more Wakandan history in the sequel, so we may have historical flashbacks to discover how Wakanda became what we saw in the first movie.

Time will tell who will don the Black Panther armor. Everyone thinks Shuri will succeed. The latest trailer showed us the new Black Panther. Later in the trailer, the new Black Panther falls from the ceiling in a spectacular stunt.

No formal word yet on who’s suing. This won’t be revealed until the movie comes out, preferably without spoilers. Wakanda Forever will be released on November 11. Disney+ has Black Panther.

Black Panther 2 Release Date

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will appear in theatres on November 11, 2022, instead of October 20, 2021.

That’s a change of four months from July 2022, and the sequel will take the place of The Marvels, which has been moved back to July 2023. Even though nothing is set in stone, we hope this is the last time the movie will change.

Filming began in June 2021, but there was a break from November 2021 to January 2022, as was already said. But work on it started again in January 2022, and filming was done in March 2022, so hopefully, it will be out in November as planned.
