Kandace Florence, 28, Jordan Marshall, 28, and Cortez Hall, 33, were with their friends in Mexico City for the Day of the Dead.
The bodies of three friends from the United States that had travelled to Mexico to celebrate the Day of the Dead were discovered in an Airbnb that the group had leased.
According to a local news station in Norfolk, Virginia, Kandace Florence, age 28, was celebrating the Day of the Dead at an Airbnb along with her high school classmate Jordan Marshall, age 28, as well as Marshall’s friend Cortez Hall.
The yearly celebration takes place on the first and second of November.
“We can confirm the passing of three nationals of the United States of America who were in Mexico. The inquiry into the cause of death being conducted by the local authorities is being closely monitored by us.

According to the site, on October 30, Kandace expressed to her lover that she wasn’t feeling well as they were conversing on the phone. While they were on the phone together, she started to feel unwell, which caused the call to be disconnected.
After being unable to reach Kandace, her boyfriend reached out to the host of the Airbnb and inquired as to whether or not they could check on the group of three guests. According to Wavy, when the authorities arrived, all of them were found to be dead. Since then, members of both Kandace and Jordan’s families have come out and expressed their want to learn more about what took place.
Ceola Hall shared with a local New Orleans NBC station that WDSU that her kid “was a joyful child.” “He loved not only me but also his family very much. He took great pleasure in making other people laugh.”
Just a few short days before she was notified of Cortez’s passing by the United States Embassy, she and his sisters had their last discussion with him.

According to several different stories, Cortez was 33.
She commented to the media source that “it has been really difficult.” “We attempted to reach the funeral homes located there by ringing back over there. Because of the language barrier and other things, you are unable to fully understand anything or get anything through.”
Added Ceola: “I dread the thought of any other parents having to go through what I did with my kid, and I was taken aback when I learned this information about him. That was unexpected.”
