In the next round, clue-givers from both teams (civilians in seasons one and two and celebrities in season three) are shown five sets of three words each. Each set has three colors of words that get harder to say: green, yellow, and red. Each color is worth 250, 500, or 1000 points on its own.
The clue-givers then take turns choosing the first word from each of the other four sets. The word that wasn’t chosen from each set is thrown away.
Both teams get a chance to guess the words in this round. The team in last place will go first. The teams have 45 seconds on the clock, and they can only use 20-word clues.
If a team gets all five words right, they get an extra 1000 points. If a clue-giver gives an “illegal clue,” that word is no longer valid. The winner is the team with the most points. The round can also end early if the difference in points between the two teams is so big that the team in the back can’t catch up.
Bonus Game
Bonus round is where the money is. The winning team will play to try to win the $10,000 prize. This round’s clues will be given by a civilian teammate.
The timer is set for one minute, and there is a limit of 25 words in the clues. The round is over when the time is up or when the person giving clues gives a “illegal clue,” makes a hand signal, or gives more clue words than allowed.
