You don’t really need to chuck it out, most things can be repaired, it just takes a bit of effort and time. Doing so not only helps your pocket, it ultimately means your are doing your small bit to help the planet.

Sheffield Repair Café is held one Saturday per month on alternate months and the next session is on Saturday 16th November, between 10am – 4pm at the Community Hall, Heeley City Farm, Sheffield, S2 3DT.

It is run by a group of hard-working volunteers who will bring your broken stuff back to life. They can fix, vacuum cleaners, radios, toys and other household items.

Why not give them a try or check them out on Facebook.
